Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, the force said.
The arrests follow a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, two women were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.
A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later released.
Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the scene. He has since been released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.
Police were called at approximately 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.
The attack - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
